  • Oil Leaks

Oil leaks, particularly from the Rear Main Seal and Timing Cover on the first and second-generation Porsche Cayenne with the V8 engines (4.5L, 4.8L), such as the S and Turbo variants. This is a labour intensive process due to the complexity of the engine layout.

  • AdBlue System Malfunctions

AdBlue System Malfunctions in Diesel Models. The vehicle experiences warning lights on the dashboard indicating issues with the AdBlue system, reduced engine performance, or the vehicle entering a limp mode to prevent further damage. The models that we have experienced this issue with are:

    • Porsche Cayenne Diesel particularly in the second generation (E2) which started around 2010, these models have the 3.0L V6 TDI engine (CNRB and CVWA) and the 4.2L V8 TDI engine (engine code CKDA).
    • Porsche Macan Diesel The Macan S Diesel, which has the 3.0L V6 TDI engine (DETA and DFGA), has had reports of AdBlue system issues, although less frequently compared to the Cayenne and Panamera.
  • Electrical Issues

Electrical issues including failing window regulators, erratic lights, and issues with the ignition switch. These are more common in the 911 and Boxster.

  • Water Pump Failure

Water pump failure is common in models like the 911, Boxster, and Cayman, water pump failure can lead to engine overheating. Symptoms include coolant leakage and high engine temperatures.

  • Coolant Pipe Failures

Coolant pipe failures in models like the Panamera and Cayenne with V8 engines (4.8L), the coolant pipes can fail, leading to coolant leakage. This can result in engine overheating and requires immediate attention.

  • Transfer Case Issues in Cayenne

Transfer Case Issues in Cayenne especially earlier models of the second generation (2011-2014), can experience transfer case problems, leading to jerky movements during acceleration and issues with the all-wheel-drive system.

  • Electronic Thermostat Failure

Electronic thermostat failure due to electronic or mechanical issues, resulting in incorrect engine temperature readings, overheating, or poor engine performance.

About

about our
Porsche servicing

  • An independent, Brisbane-based Porsche service mechanic you can trust

Our love of European cars runs deep, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles are no exception. With decades worth of skills, knowledge and experience under the bonnet, our team of passionate automotive mechanics, technicians and electricians will give your car the love it deserves without compromising on quality and value.

Equipped with state-of-the-art tools, crew and diagnostic equipment, we’re fully qualified (and fully confident) to handle the specialist technology and equipment unique to the Mercedes-Benz line.

  • How often should I service my Porsche?

Regular servicing is crucial to maintaining your Porsche’s performance, safety, and long-term value. Most Porsche models require servicing every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first, although some performance models may have more specific requirements. We’ll help you stay aligned with the recommended service schedule to keep your Porsche performing at its peak.

  • Do I need genuine Porsche parts?

While it’s not essential to use genuine Porsche parts, we strongly recommend using either genuine or high-quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components. These parts are made to meet Porsche’s exacting standards and help preserve your vehicle’s performance, safety, and value. We source trusted parts that ensure your Porsche continues to deliver the driving experience you expect.

  • Does booking in at a non-dealership avoid my warranty?

No, your Porsche warranty will remain valid as long as servicing is carried out by qualified technicians using the correct procedures and parts. We follow Porsche’s factory specifications closely, so you can maintain your warranty while enjoying more flexibility and value than a dealership service.

  • We take your Porsche seriously

Your Porsche is a high-performance vehicle that deserves expert care. Our technicians are experienced with European cars and understand the precision engineering that sets Porsche apart. We treat every Porsche we service with the same level of attention, care, and professionalism as we would our own.

  • The superior alternative to Porsche servicing at the dealerships

We offer the same technical expertise and attention to detail you’d expect from a dealership, without the dealership pricing or impersonal service. Whether it’s a routine service or a complex issue, we provide Porsche owners with a more transparent, personalised, and cost-effective alternative.

  • After Hours Dropoff

We know your time is valuable. That’s why we offer an after-hours drop-off service, allowing you to leave your Porsche with us at a time that suits your schedule. Just lock your car and place your keys in our secure dropbox. We’ll take care of everything from there.

What our customers are saying

Amazing experience!
I booked my A5 in to be looked at after Audi Centre Fortitude Valley said I needed new brakes all around and 7k worth of repairs.

From the beginning, the experience was fantastic. From booking and being offered a loan car to arriving and being offered a coffee, it really is the small things that lead to an amazing experience.

Turned out nothing Audi had found was correct and I was shown video proof. All the car needed was some new front brakes. Cannot highly recommend these guys enough!

Efficient, thorough and I left feeling I understood the problem. The token to get a fabulous coffee from the barista outside. Can not recommend Accelerate Automotive highly enough. As a woman who knows nothing about motors and cars, the Technicians took the time to explain it, so I understood it.

10 ✨Great customer service, loved the video integration from the workshop to show you what needs to be done great personal touch. Ben found a creative and economical solution for the tyres. Love the car diffuser touch.

Service and supplies you won’t get anywhere else

A lot of later-model Porsche's require specialist parts like oils that can’t be found in most garages and workshops. As a European car mechanic, you can be confident your car will be serviced with the highest quality and correct supplies required to keep your Porsche running perfectly, while ensuring we don’t compromise your warranty. Be warned – going with a generic alternative as a ‘cheap’ one-size-fits-all solution can be an expensive mistake.
